Cheltenham 0 v 3 Holyport

Half time; Cheltenham 0 v 3 Holyport

Holyport Scorers: Matt Rolfe 19 & Lewis Driver 27 & 45

Holyport put recent results behind them with a comfortable three nil victory on the road at Cheltenham Saracens. A win that sees Port move up to 7th place started with Holyport slightly on the back foot as they adjusted to a difficult playing surface.

Holyport slowly found their way into the game and on the 19th minute Matt Rolfe stepped up to score Holyports first goal of the game. Rolfe has a habit of finding himself in the right place at the right time and he added to his seasons tally and set Port on their way.

Callum Coull and Ben Sturgess were having good games for Holyport in midfield and it was only for the Saras goal keeper that the score was kept at one nil until Lewis Driver stepped up and got himself on the score sheet on the 27th minute.

With a large amount of first half injury time due to a Cheltenham injury Lewis Driver added another to his tally during this first half injury time to make it three nil and a good first half for The Port.

The second half started with a Cheltenham fight back but Carter in Ports goal was well assisted by Bailey and Rolfe and Port stood firm and saw of their advances.

Holyport once again created chances but the Saras goal keeper was having a very good game and denied them on several occasions. Holyport used all three subs Jamie Wright, Stuart Butler and new signing Luke Dexter.

Holyport move on to Tuesday nights game at home to Henley.
