Luke Dexter - A tenacious young defender or midfielder. Luke signed from
Cookham Dean and is also involved in the set up at Maidenhead United. Luke
is strong in the air and wears his heart on his sleeve on the pitch, a very
down to earth player with a bright future, a great addition for a
progressing Holyport team.
Aaron O'Brien - Aaron is a young Goalkeeper with alot of potential. His shot
stopping is probably his stongest asset along with the commitment to
learning and improving. His patience will be rewarded in the long run and he
made a handfull of first team appearances in 2006/2007 keeping a few clean
sheets, and helping the first team in a good cup run.
Arron Coleman - Strong, powerful player and would be a good addition to any
team in this league. Coleman was a schoolboy with a couple of professional
clubs before taking three years out, his ability to read the game and
composure in tight situations shows his quality. Coleman will be a very good
addition to Holyport FC and is a good personality.
Lewis Driver - 'scuba' Young, quick, skilful and born with a winning
mentality. 'Scuba' is one of Holyport FC biggest signings as they managed to
snatch him from newly promoted Maidenhead United. After a succesfull loan
period in 06/07 scoring 9 goals in 10 games for Holyport FC 'Scuba' showed
his promise, still only 18 years old Holyport FC hope he can consistently
produce match winning performances.
Steve Devril - A very young promising left sided player. Steve has the
ability to beat players with his speed and close control at ease, at only 16
years old his willingness to listen and learn will no doubt project him to
higher standards. Although very young Steve's ability will hopefully see him
in the first team squad in the near future producing performances worthy of
his ability.
Phil Collins; Inevitably known as Genesis (but also Dog the Bounty Hunter). Joined the club in 2006 and made an immediate impact picking up the Players' Player of the Year in his first season. Phil is a tireless centre midfielder whose strength, energy and commitment would a major addition to any Hellenic League club.
Sam Jones; Jona's second period with the club after a short spell with Beaconsfield Sycob F.C. Jona is cultured
in centre midfield or as a centre back. Very comfortable on the ball and organises the players around him well. Extremely professional and an important member of the first team.
Stuart Butler; Buts has been unfortunate with injury, but when fit is a very useful player to have in the squad. His ability to run at players and deliver quality crosses into the box from both sides is key, along with his happy habit of scoring 25 yard volley's.
Jamie Wright; aka Lefton. J has become a major part of Holyport's success since stepping up at 16. His strength, aerial power and abilitity to hold up the ball adds a great option to the side's attacking shape. Is ever improving and turning into a more complete wstriker week by week.
Simon Wright, Defender, Ex Martin Baker Sports, signing who has fitted in well from the start.
David Butler; Won the Hellenic player of the year in 2005/6, very attack minded, left sided wing/forward. Is a player who creates problems for the opposition with his attacking runs and his ability to get on the scoresheet adds good fire power wherever he plays.
Emlyn Hill, now in his second spell with Holyport. Midfielder who found the net on 13 occasions last season and has already been on the mark this term. Recently qualified as a UEFA 'B' coach and working with Reading F.C. and head coach at Wycombe and Amersham College. Club captain.
Warren Carter - Exceptional young goalkeeper, a magnificent shot stopper
who has become a key member of the first team. On the brink of better things
and has already attracted attention from the likes of Reading and
Southampton FC.
Ashley Kelsey - AK is in his third season with the club, a solid right back
with an eye for a good pass. Ever present in 2005/2006 good in the air and
will never shy a challenge.
Tom Donati - Strong Centre Back, a born leader very vocal and organised,
strong in the air and loves a challenge. Has played with Maidenhead Utd and
Flackwell Heath FC before joining Holyport in 2006/2007 as Player/Coach. Another UEFA 'B' coach. Currently recovering from a serious injury, having broken his leg in the first five minutes of the pre-season schedule.
James Sion; 'Jolly' a striker on the brink of the first team and really benefiting from the experience. His pace and sharpness in and around the area put him in the 'Fox in the box' caterory. Arguably the best natural finisher in the squad.
Alan Hasler - Alan 'Tha Kid' Hasler is a very pacey young attack minded
player. Has been converted into a left back and with his quality deliveries
and forward runs adds attacking options aswell as good defensive cover when
called upon.
Dan Rapley - (The Scientist) - Very Pacey right sided player who seems more
comfortable at right back after having started the season as a right winger
in the reserves, now established with the first team and proving himself to
be a big hit at the club.
Chris Woods - 'Golden Touch'! Forward who is good in the air and has glue on
his boots. His performances have already raised eyebrows and his inter
linking play between midfield and attack are second to none.
James Cox; Signed for Holyport in 2007/2008 season from Bisley. At 23 his experience is vast, having been around the pro-game since a young age. Very pacey, extremely comfortable with the ball at his feet and able to player on either wing or as a forward. Will no doubt prove to be a very good signing.
Liam Woozley - 'Worzel' is another good new addition to Holyport FC in the 2007/08 season, signing from neighbours Binfield. Liam comes in as a centre back who can also adapt to centre midfield. His aerial ability and organisational skills will bring competition for places and will definately add knowledge and experience to a young Holyport side.
Richard Tyrell - 'Biscuit' is now in his third season with the club, a commanding centre back and captain of the reserves shows that 'Biscuit' is an important part of the club. His strong leadership and organisation on the pitch are a major part of his make up along with a never say die attitude.
Jake Brooks - Jake has recently signed for Holyport FC, making an early step up from youth football and making an immediate impact. His youthfulness and hunger for the game have brought a refreshing air to the club. The midfielders ability on the ball and eye for a pass have raised eyebrows. Jake looks to be a promising player for the future.
Simon Fuller - Simon signed for Holyport FC in 07/08. Another young defender with a lot to learn, but his willing to do that and pure defensive abilities saw him grab a handful of call ups to the first team earlier this season. He is dominant in the air and will always put his foot in where it hurts.
